Mission
An alliance of area Eagle Scouts with a mission to promote and build leadership skills, fellowship and support the Council.
Vision
To involve all area Eagle Scouts as active participants in the mission of Scouting America.
Never in Scouting history has there been a more important time than right now to develop strong leadership skills for our future leaders. As an Eagle Scout, you know what your Scout training has done for your personal development. We are now looking for Eagle Scouts in our Council area to “give back” to the youth we are serving. We need YOU to share your skills and experience with Scouts in our Council.
Through the Sequoyah Council National Eagle Scout Association, we have an opportunity to promote and build leadership skills in our youth, the future leaders of our country. We can support the Sequoyah Council while we reacquaint with fellow Eagle Scouts. Please register so we can contact you about our meetings that will include food, fellowship, and opportunities for leadership roles.
Do you know an Eagle Scout that has served this area with distinction? If yes, they can be nominated for the Outstanding Eagle Scout Award. The National Eagle Scout Association’s Outstanding Eagle Scout Award is a prestigious recognition granted to Eagle Scouts who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their local community, state, and region. Each recipient’s actions and accomplishments have elevated the stature of Eagle Scouts in the public eye, and each recipient has held to the standards set forth in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Please complete this nomination form and submit to John Shotwell via email. They need not be registered in scouting and they must live within the Sequoyah Council.
There are many college scholarships available to Eagle Scouts. Click the button below for some information on just a few that are available! Good Luck!
