Crockett Card FAQ

The annual enrollment period for the Crockett Card ends October 13th.

Enrollment can be made online at scoutingevent.com/713-CrockettCard23 using a credit/debit card, or in person at the Scout Service Center.

The twelve-monthly payments will occur on the day of the month you registered. For example, if you enroll on the 4th, your payments will be monthly on the 4th.

Yes, all leader training, including Wood Badge, is covered as part of the Crockett Card. To hold your place for Wood Badge, a $100 refundable deposit is required during registration.

When you complete your registration, there will be a box that will read “Crockett Card.”  Below that will be a place to input your Crockett Card number. That will then be verified, and you will be able to complete the registration for the event. 

The benefits of the Crockett Card are from November 1st through October 31st

(New Crockett Card Members who register before October 1st will get to attend Cub Scout Haunted Adventure Weekend included in the cost of your card.)

No, each scout and family can make their own decision to participate in the Crockett Card.

No, the Crockett card covers all registration fees, insurance fees, and the joining fee.

When your unit leadership team processes the recharter, they ask each family if they are renewing, at that time they should also ask if they are enrolling in the Crockett Card. If you have a question about who from your unit has already enrolled in the Crockett Card, please email Mike Wolfe.

No, the annual subscription should be paid through your unit. Scout Life magazine subscription fees are the only fees that are collected from Youth or Adults through the recharter process.

The Crockett Card covers a Scout’s attendance at camp. Specific fees for Merit Badge classes, COPE, and other miscellaneous fees may still apply.

The council will work with the family/scout on fulfilling the obligation. The unit will not be liable for any other fees.

Scouts can attend Camp Davy Crockett as a provisional Scout and will be connected to another Troop for the week.

When you are signing up use “Troop 0” as your unit type and number.

You can attend as a provisional Scout another week of camp if it is a date conflict, otherwise credit may be rolled to a future event. Please contact Mike Wolfe for specific questions.
