The Sequoyah Council is constantly assessing the needs of families across the region as well as the extent of the impact at Camp Davy Crockett.

To our Scouting families and the surrounding communities, we are here for you. Please let us know about any needs or if any Scout in the affected areas has lost their handbook or uniform due to flooding. The Sequoyah Council Service Center is accepting donations of the following items for flood relief efforts: 

  • Bottled Water
  • Trash Bags
  • Gloves (Medical & Work)
  • Hand Soap
  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • Peroxide
  • First Aid Kits
  • Flashlights / Batteries
  • Hygiene items
  • Diapers (Adult & Baby)
  • Wet Wipes / Baby Wipes
  • New, Unopened Baby Formula
  • New Baby Bottles
  • Non-Perishable Food
  • Ensure Drinks (or similar)
  • Can Openers
  • Charcoal
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Candles
  • Matches
  • Blankets
  • New, unopened Toys
  • Board Games
  • Card Games

The Council is also accepting funds and has an Amazon list for directed donation to families impacted by the flooding as well as rebuilding efforts at Camp Davy Crockett. 

Any items purchased from the Amazon list will be shipped directly to the Service Center and distributed to individuals and local organizations in need. As always, 100% of donations (money and supplies) will be put to work here in the Sequoyah Council footprint.
